How Sync Works
On schedule sync, desknet's NEO Schedule and Outlook Calendar are synchronized by the latest data.
* In case of "Sync Type" in "System Management" - "General Settings" is set to "Sync both desknet's NEO and Microsoft 365",
desknet's NEO data will be send to Outlook if desknet's NEO data is the latest, and Outlook data wil be send to desknet's NEO if Outlook data is the latest.
* In case of "Sync Type" in "System Management" - "General Settings" is set to "Only sync desknet's NEO to Microsoft 365",
desknet's NEO data will be send to Outlook if desknet's NEO data is the latest.
* In case of "Sync Type" in "System Management" - "General Settings" is set to "Only sync Microsoft 365 to desknet's NEO",
Outlook data wil be send to desknet's NEO if Outlook data is the latest.

1. Sync an event added in desknet's NEO (Not yet existing in Outlook Calendar)
When you add an event to desknet's NEO, it will sync with Outlook Calendar and the event will be added to Outlook Calendar as well.
Upon sync, each item of the schedule is synchronized as described here.
* Data will not be synced if "Sync Type" in "System Management" - "General Settings" is set to "Only sync Microsoft 365 to desknet's NEO".

2. Sync an event added in Outlook Calendar (Not yet existing in desknet's NEO)
* Data will not be synced if "Sync Type" in "System Management" - "General Settings" is set to "Only sync desknet's NEO to Microsoft 365".

When you add an event to Outlook Calendar, by synchronizing desknet's NEO with Outlook Calendar, the event will be added to desknet's NEO as well.
Upon sync, each item of the schedule is synchronized as described here.
- Start and End Date/Time
* The event will be registered in desknet's NEO without a specified time when an all-day event set as "Free" is added in Outlook.
* The event will be registered in desknet's NEO as an all-day event when an all-day event set as "Busy" is added in Outlook.
* When "Add an unspecific time event" setting in [Facility Reservation > System Management > General Settings] is set to "Disallow", and Outlook is set to "Free", an all-day event set with a facility linked to desknet's NEO will synch with desknet's NEO and produce an error.

Among the users selected as "attendees" in Outlook Calendar, if there are users with the email address of Microsoft 365 set in "User Information Integration Setting", they will be synchronized as "registered to" in desknet's NEO.
- Facility
Among the facilities registered, if there are facilities with the email address of Microsoft 365 set in "Facility Information Integration Setting", they will be synchronized as "Room or location" in Outlook Calendar.
- Attachment Files
If Attachment File Sync is set to "Yes" in User Information Integration Setting, if there is an attached file in the event it will be synchronized.
